BuWoo is a collaborative mixed-fermentation sour barrel project between Bellwoods and , released simultaneously in our respective shops.

Our version began as a blend of golden ales pulled from our foeders, that was then conditioned on a whack of Alphonso mangoes, and cold-steeped Japanese Sencha. Our process was marked by hilarious levels of headaches, owing largely to the filtering stage (ever flossed after eating a mango? Yeah), but it wouldn't be a worthy collab if we hadn't shooketh our fists at the sky a few times. The resulting beer showcases bold acidity, aromatics of mango sorbet, and a distinct green tea quality, emboldened by a substantial slumber in oak.
